The machine used to cut the gear teeth is a Shoptask Bridgemill 3 in 1 machine.

The gear cutting tools were purchased from Travers.  I purchased cutters for 10 pitch involute gear teeth in sizes 3, 5, and 8 for the different numbers of gear teeth.  The Arbor is from KBC Tools and fits in a 3/4" R8 collet.

4 gears are being cut in the operation shown with MDF sacrificial material on front and back.

The gear blank is pushed past the rotating cutter after being indexed on the horizontally mounted rotary table.

The gear shown is a 43 tooth gear.
